About the event
Join the ASA for an evening centering Black youth voices and expertise on matters related to community organizing in "Vancouver".
About this EventGiven the crucial times we are in, where Black liberation is being fought across Turtle Island and globally, we would like to hold space for Black youth who have been on the frontlines in varying capacities in addressing systemic racism and antiBlackness within community spaces, academia, workplaces, etc. This event is organized by fellow Black youth who feel that it is critical to hold these conversations and create a platform for Black youth whose voices have long been overshadowed and overlooked in organizing spaces.
We welcome all folks to attend, learn and listen to Black youth. However, priority for questions will be given to Black folks.
This event will feature six Black youth panelists. Details will be shared soon.
Registered participants will receive zoom link closer to the event date.
The ASA is a Black Student run initiative, we encourage folks to donate to this event and future events to increase our capacity and compensate students working to host this events and support our communities.
